App license

Sousbook uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Please read that agreement for the app license and applicable warranty and liability provisions. This page explains Sousbook's features and limitations; it does not replace that agreement or introduce a separate liability waiver.

Recipes and food safety

Sousbook is a recipe organization and cooking aid. Recipes, imports, photo recognition, serving adjustments and unit conversions can contain errors or omissions. Check ingredients, quantities and directions against the original source before cooking. Importing a recipe does not mean Sousbook has tested or endorsed it.

Allergies: Sousbook does not verify allergens or certify a recipe as safe for a particular diet. Check current product labels, ingredients and substitutions, and prevent allergen cross-contact. A missing warning does not mean a food is safe for you.

Cooking: Timers, recipe times and step completion do not confirm safe doneness. Use a food thermometer and follow official guidance for safe temperatures, resting times, handling and storage. Notifications may be affected by device settings or interruptions. The app does not provide medical or individualized dietary advice.

Read the full food safety guidance, including links to FDA and FoodSafety.gov resources. These notices do not waive your statutory rights or excuse liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Sousbook Pro purchases

Sousbook Pro is available through an annual auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, subject to availability. Apple's purchase screen shows the applicable localized price and billing details. An eligible three-day trial converts to the displayed annual price unless canceled in time. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current subscription period ends to avoid the next charge.

Manage subscriptions through your Apple account's Subscriptions settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an annual subscription. Lifetime has no recurring subscription charge. Restore a purchase from Settings or the paywall using the Apple account that made it. Refund requests are handled through Apple's refund process and applicable law.

Your content

You retain the rights you hold in your recipes, notes and photos. Only import or share content when you have the rights or another lawful basis to do so. Public availability and a source link do not automatically grant copying or redistribution rights. Keep independent copies of important recipes; device storage and iCloud availability can change.
