Change your Bible's colour or binding
Tap the gear in the reader's toolbar, then Binding. You can change the colour, material, page edges, ribbon and the name stamped on the cover at any time. The choice you made when you first opened the app is only a starting point.
Change translation, theme or text size
Tap the translation button (BSB, KJV or WEB) next to the chapter name, or use Settings. Tap Aa for Paper, Sepia or Night and for text size. Text size adds to your iPhone's own text size setting.
Listening
Narration is being added a chapter at a time. A narrated chapter is narrated in all three translations, and the recording always matches the translation on the page. If a chapter has no narration yet, the Listen page says so and lists the chapters that do. Sleep can stop at the end of the chapter, keep playing into the next narrated chapter, or stop after 5, 15 or 30 minutes with Plus. Genesis 1 and Psalm 23 narration and stopping at the end of a chapter are always free. Other available narration and continuous listening unlock during the trial or with Lifetime.
Free trial and Lifetime
The optional free trial unlocks Plus for 7 days. Nothing is charged when it ends. Continue free, or choose the separate $49.99 USD one-time Lifetime purchase (the App Store displays your local price). Reinstalling does not restart the trial. Notes export and verse share cards remain free. If a chosen premium binding locks, it stays saved and returns when Plus is unlocked again.
Restore purchases and Family Sharing
Open Settings in Lampleaf, then tap Restore purchases. Use the Apple Account that made the original purchase under iOS Settings, your name, Media & Purchases. Allow an internet connection for Apple and RevenueCat to verify it, and complete Apple's sign-in if requested. Restoring does not charge again or restart an expired trial. If a purchase is awaiting approval, Plus unlocks after Apple completes it.
Lifetime supports eligible Family Sharing. Check your family's purchase-sharing settings and that the purchaser is sharing the eligible purchase, then restore on the family member's device. The free trial is not family-shared. Contact support with the product and app version if access is still missing; do not send payment-card details or private notes.
Optional daily reminder
Enable Daily reminder in Lampleaf Settings and choose a time. Allow notifications when iOS asks. The reminder is scheduled locally; nothing is sent to us. To stop it, turn off Daily reminder, or disable Lampleaf notifications in iOS Settings.
The reading plan
The Beginnings plan is an optional seven-day schedule, not a trial or subscription. It has no dates: if you skip a day, it waits where you left off. Start, restart or end it from Settings, Reading plan. You can always read anything you like, with or without it.
Your notes stay on your device
Notes, highlights and your reading place are stored only on your device; there is no account or cloud backup. Export a copy from Settings, Your notes and highlights, as plain text or PDF. Deleting the app deletes its local notes, so keep an exported copy somewhere you control.
Reading offline
The complete Bible, search, pictures and narration are included with the app, so they work without a connection.
