Lampleaf

Privacy Policy

Effective: October 19, 2026

Lampleaf is an illustrated Bible app for iPhone and iPad. There is no account to create, no login, and no server that receives your notes or reading. The Bible text, pictures and narration are included with the app, so reading and listening work offline. This policy explains what stays on your device and the limited purchase information used by RevenueCat.

What stays on your device

Your notes (their titles, text, tags and colours), your highlights, where you stopped reading, your translation, theme and text size, your binding choices (including any name you stamp on the cover), your reading-plan progress, optional reminder time and your listening preferences are stored in the app's local storage on your device.

Lampleaf does not upload any of this, and it does not sync it with iCloud. It does not collect reading or listening analytics.

When the app uses the network

The bundled Bible text, search, pictures and narration work without a network connection. The app contacts RevenueCat to check purchase information when it starts or refreshes purchase access, and when you buy or restore Plus. If you tap Help, Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, those pages open in your browser. Contact support opens your own email app with a message addressed to us; nothing is sent unless you send it.

Optional daily reminder

If you choose a daily reminder and allow notifications, Lampleaf schedules a local notification on your device at your chosen time. It is not a push notification: no notification token, reminder time, reading activity or note is sent to us or a service. Turn it off in Lampleaf Settings, Daily reminder, or in iOS Settings, Notifications.

Purchases

The complete Bible is free to read. Apple processes the free 7-day Plus trial and the one-time $49.99 USD Lifetime purchase through the App Store. The app uses Apple's StoreKit through RevenueCat for purchase processing, restoration and purchase analytics. Apple handles payment; neither Lampleaf nor RevenueCat receives your payment-card details. Signed Apple transactions determine access and the original seven-day trial dates, including after reinstalling. Nothing is automatically charged when the trial ends.

RevenueCat receives purchase history (such as product identifiers, transaction dates and purchase or refund status), an automatically generated anonymous app user identifier, and technical purchase information such as app/OS version, store country and currency. Network connections also expose information such as the connection's IP address to the service. We use RevenueCat to verify and restore purchases and understand Plus purchases and conversion. Apple also sends purchase-status notifications directly to RevenueCat. We do not send your name, email address, notes, Bible passages, reading or listening history, reminder settings or binding choices to RevenueCat. We do not connect the anonymous purchase identifier to a personal account or use it for advertising tracking.

RevenueCat's optional device-identifier collection and SDK diagnostics are disabled. Purchase information is handled under RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. Apple handles purchase information under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Sharing

You can choose to share a verse or a note, or export your cover as an image. That is always something you start, and you choose where it goes. Once you send or save it, the app or service you chose handles it under its own terms.

What the app does not do

Keeping and deleting your information

Deleting the app removes its local storage, including your notes, highlights and reading progress, from that device. We cannot recover them for you, because we never receive them. Deleting Lampleaf does not delete Apple's purchase records or automatically erase RevenueCat's purchase history. Contact us about purchase-data privacy requests; we may need limited transaction information to locate the anonymous purchase record. Please do not send private notes or payment-card details.

Children

Lampleaf is written for a general audience. It does not ask for a child's name, age, email address or location. The limited purchase processing described above also applies to purchases used by family members.

Changes

If Lampleaf adds a feature that changes what is processed (for example iCloud sync of notes, downloadable media, or another analytics service), this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the effective date above will change.
