Lampleaf is an illustrated Bible app for iPhone and iPad: Scripture on one page, and a picture, study notes, your own notes or narration beside it. By using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Free to read

The complete Bible in every included translation is free to read, search, highlight and take notes on, with no account. Reading plans are optional schedules; they never lock or limit what you can read.

Lampleaf Plus

Lampleaf Plus offers a 7-day free trial that unlocks all Plus features. The trial starts with the original Apple transaction for the free trial product and cannot be restarted by reinstalling the app. Nothing is charged when it ends; it does not automatically renew or convert into a paid purchase. You may continue free or choose a separate one-time Lifetime unlock for $49.99 USD. The App Store shows the price in your local currency, including any applicable taxes. There is no subscription.

Plus unlocks narration beyond the free Genesis 1 and Psalm 23 recordings, continuous listening and timed sleep options, premium bindings and cover wallpaper export. Lifetime includes eligible Family Sharing through Apple. Only available recordings are included; narration is added chapter by chapter, not promised as a complete narrated Bible at launch.

When the trial expires or Apple refunds or revokes access, Plus narration, continuous listening, timed sleep options, premium bindings and cover wallpaper export lock again. The complete Bible, search, notes and highlights, plain-text/PDF notes export, verse share cards, pictures, Compare, the Beginnings plan, reminders, classic bindings, and narration of Genesis 1 and Psalm 23 stay free. Your notes, highlights and reading progress are untouched. A premium binding stays saved while the app displays your last free binding; unlocking Plus brings it back.

Restore an eligible purchase from Settings, Restore purchases, using the Apple Account that made it. Family access depends on Apple's Family Sharing settings and eligibility; the free trial is not family-shared. Purchases, billing and refunds are handled by Apple. RevenueCat helps verify and restore purchase access and provides purchase analytics, as described in our Privacy Policy. This app cannot issue refunds. Nothing here limits your local refund or consumer rights.

The Bible text and what accompanies it

The included translations (the Berean Standard Bible, the King James Version and the World English Bible) are public domain. Narration is generated from the exact text of each translation and reviewed before release. Pictures are public-domain artworks credited by artist and year. Original-language word data comes from STEP Bible under CC BY 4.0. Full credits are in the app under Settings, Acknowledgements.

Study notes, summaries and answers to common questions are helps written to explain the text. They are not Scripture and not a final authority. Where Christians read a passage in more than one way, Lampleaf aims to describe the main views fairly; please read with your own church and conscience.

Your notes

Notes and highlights you make are yours. This app claims no ownership of them and does not upload them. They are stored on your device, so they can be lost if the app is deleted, the device is lost, or its storage fails. The app does not operate a cloud backup.

Lampleaf itself

The app, its design, the original study notes and the narration recordings remain the property of the developer. You may use them within the app and share verses and notes through the app's sharing features. Please do not republish the app's original content as your own product.

What the app is not

Lampleaf is a Bible reading and study app. It is not counseling, therapy, medical advice or pastoral care, and it is not a substitute for professional help or your church.

Availability and changes

Features and content may change as the app develops; narration and pictures are added a chapter at a time. The app is provided as it is, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free.
