Restore your unlock
Connect to the internet and tap Restore on the unlock screen. Use the Apple Account that bought the unlock, or a Family Sharing member's account. No separate app account is needed. Restoring brings back access to the computers, not deleted files.
Find your files
Everything you save in Write, Paint or BASIC is a real file on your device. Open My Disk on any computer, or open the Files app and go to On My iPhone (or On My iPad) › Beige Box. All five computers share the same disk.
Keep a copy of a file
In My Disk, select a file and choose Export to send it anywhere through the share sheet. You can also copy files from the Files app. Deleting a file in My Disk cannot be undone, and deleting the app removes its files. There is no cloud backup run by this app.
Web pages look odd or will not load
Surf displays live websites inside the four desktop computers. HOMEROOM 82 shows pages as text, and STUDIO 86 uses grayscale. Some websites restrict embedded browsers or require sign-in before playing video. Check your connection and try again. Use a regular browser for banking, payments, or anything important.
Play the new games
In Breakwater, drag on the playfield or use Left/Right or A/D to move the paddle. Space launches the ball; Play pauses or resumes. Clear three walls before losing three lives. In Pairs, choose two cards at a time and find all six matches in as few moves as possible. Both games save personal records on your device. New or New deal starts over.
Where did my bulletin board posts go?
BeigeNet is currently a local demonstration on your device. Posts you write are not shared with anyone and are cleared when the app is fully closed.
Purchases and refunds
The unlock is one payment, not a subscription. Apple handles payments and refund requests. Use Apple's refund request page for a purchase refund. A confirmed refund ends paid access without deleting your files.
